Picture Hanging

All of our prints are fitted with the “Wall Buddie” picture hanging system.  It’s a lovely, straight forward way of hanging your prints!  They are also excellent extra strength for frame corners and minimise any risk of bowed frames.

The first step is to decide where on the wall you would like your picture to be hung.  Then measure down two inches (five cm) from that point to allow for the length of the Wall Buddie.  Mark this spot with a pencil.  Place the first hook against the wall and hammer the nail into the wall through the holes – this will be at a downward angle.

The Wall Buddie hangers mounted on the back of your picture have arrows marked on them (indented into the metal) – measure between these two arrows.  Mark this measurement on your wall from the first hook you have nailed up (a spirit level will help you keep the two point level).  Place the second hook against the wall on the mark you have made and again, hammer the nail in through the holes in the hook.  You are now ready to hang your picture!

Hold the picture higher than the hooks and flat against the wall and slowly slide the picture down.  It will rest on the nail that is between the slot of the hook. To give the picture a final level, slide the picture either to the left or right (up and down the steps on the Wall Buddie).
